Google Invite Pin Design: Oklahoma

When Google opened a branch office in Oklahoma, I was commissioned to draw a collection of state-themed icons that were used in invitations and promotional material. The Oklahoma-themed icons combine with Google brand icons to form a Google Maps pin shape, but each can also stand alone. Some highlights include Oklahoma’s Native American cultures; state wildlife; the popularity of sports; cowboy life; the role of the energy industry (oil, gas, and wind); and historic Route 66.
